Fernglen Farm

Performance protein sheeps milk

We’re pretty lucky to have a few good connections and one of those being our good friends over at Fernglen Farm who are now producing the most amazing performance protein recovery drink from sheep’s milk. Sheep’s milk is naturally high in protein and Fernglen do not add any powders or reconstitute the milk by condensing it or splitting it apart and reformulating. It contains double the amount of leucine, isoleucine, and valine than whole fat cow’s milk which was essential for muscle building and recovery. The performance protein drink contains 31.5g of carbohydrates which falls into the optimal range for recovery to replenish your bodies energy stores (glycogen) following intense bouts of exercise. The mostly short-medium chain fatty acids which are naturally higher in concentration than full fat cow’s milk are broken down faster by the body and aid in lactose digestion.

We are lucky enough to have a limited supply of these amazing drinks in the gym each week so if you’d like to try one of the three amazing flavours - Chocolate, Vanilla and Coffee, pop in for a session or a class and we’ll reward you with one after!

Group Classes & Social Events

We really look forward to our members coming in each day. And we get a real kick out of seeing them enjoy themselves and achieve results. We’ve worked hard to create an enjoyable, laid-back environment for you to work out in. We love group classes, and also like to host regular social events like the odd BBQ or nutritional workshop. We believe if we make it fun, you’ll keep coming back. Because the Performance Room isn’t just a gym. It’s a community.
